Rotary valves
Rotary valves (rotary airlocks) are essential for clean, stable discharge from dust collectors in pneumatic conveying and dust extraction systems. Installed beneath a baghouse, cartridge filter or dust collector hopper, the rotary valve meters collected dust, powder or fines into a bin or silo while maintaining an effective airlock. This prevents unwanted air ingress that can disturb fan performance, upset filter differential pressure, or cause re-entrainment of dust back into the collector.
For dust collector applications where discharge is required at atmospheric pressure, the NRS-type rotary valve is an ideal solution. It delivers consistent, controlled flow, supports reliable filter operation, and helps reduce emissions and housekeeping issues by minimizing leakage and surging. With robust construction, tight rotor-to-housing clearances, and flexible inlet/outlet and drive options, it integrates easily under most collector designs. Specify the rotary valve to suit your dust characteristics, throughput, and pressure conditions for long service life and low maintenance.
